Starting raw Jan 97 now during the Bret, Vader, Austin, Taker era fighting for the belt.

I honestly dont give a crap about today's product and I have no intention in watching anything that I didn't grow up on.

From there I plan on rewatching WCW

Why not start from the beginning?

I've been watching a lot of YouTube clips of the attitude era so I figured why not start in 97 and go from there. They were all very highly entertaining even if its background noise.

Start from survivor series 96 (or even summerslam). 97 will have a much better context.

Did something similar recently with RAW episodes. Started somewhere in 1997 - when Vince finally stopped working as a commentator - and proceeded to work my way up. Dude's a great actor and entertainer, but as a commentator he was insufferable. Looking back at it all, 1998/1999 is the most fun shit. All the nonsense and drama was just on another level, so much fun.

Well said my friend. Fun times indeed. Glad I live through that era. I feel bad for kids these days, they miss something very special.

I enjoyed nearly all of the ruthless aggression era, so I think you should continue after 03. At least for 2-3 years.

I watched it live and on rewatch is my favorite for in ring work.

Angle, Eddie, Benoit, Brock, hbk, rvd,

So much talent. I will definitely watch it again. I’m throughly enjoying Austin/Owen right now

The WWE needs a 3 month off season to write and have guys get healthy.. During that time they should just have shows from that era ran. I would watch that more than what I do now.
What ts is doing makes sense with the network.

Lol so I'm at 1998 now with Mike Tyson/Steve Austin confrontation and at the very end of raw Mike Tyson calls Stone Cold a fagggot lol

They didn't even censor that out on the wwe network which is surprising but I enjoyed every bit of it. Ah, the good ol days.

I wish I had the time to go back and watch 85-2002. Those were the prime years for me

I'd stop before 03. That was some dreadful stuff.

Gonna stop after 01 or 02

01 is arguably the best year for matches and 02 is the return of HBK

Miguel Perez' two week push as an upper card babyface is just one of those odd nuggets 1997 provided as the WWF tried to throw everything against the wall.

Did they end out editing Chris Benoit out of everything on the WWE Network?

No. The Benoit tribute show isn’t on the network, the Benoit bio dvd isn’t on there and if you search “Chris Benoit” on the network, you’ll get no results. Other than that, you can still see all of his matches.

You have to watch the PPVs to enjoy Benoit which I do because he's awesome.....in the ring.
