I've been preaching this for a couple weeks now.

I honestly believe JDS will submit Cain if it goes to the ground. Easily, might I add.

JDS don't purposefully get taken down to show us your BJJ. :icon_chee j/k Should be a great fight.

i dont doubt he has serviceable bjj, but if he ends up flat on his back in the middle of the octagon, he could be in trouble.

also i really doubt we see him pulling off a sub from bottom, but he could grab a choke if he rocks cain again.

luckily for JDS it more than likely won't get to that point. Cain's just going to leave himself wide open like he always does when he mindlessly rushes in to set up his takedowns with punches, get caught, and go to sleep. again.

Kongo dropped him 3 times for the 10 seconds that fight was contested on the feet.

You believe in god also? I mean, since you believe things without any evidence.

    Eh?
Makes sense. You've got to think JDS has put a lot of work into his ground game seeing as how he has already prepared for Cain, a strong wrestler in Carwin, and a dangerous BJJ practitioner in Frank Mir. Plus you have to think ahead as well. If JDS and Alistair meet, there's no doubt Overeem will try his hand on the ground if he's not getting the better of the stand up.

I imagine JDS has been putting a lot of work into his jiu-jitsu and overall TDD. If he's able to stop Cain's seemingly inevitable onslaught of take downs, or is able to sweep/stand back up, then I think it's safe to say he has improved in the areas most have called his weak points.

I think his ground scrambling will be very impressive given how athletic he is on his feet

One thing for sure JDS has a got a black belt. And he is still a big athletic guy to fight on the ground. Say what you will, but Antonio Silva is in no way a representative of a good ground fighter.

Then you had better cash in on those 18/1 odds, man. If anyone thinks a JDS submission is likely, I suggest they wager some money. Those are long fucking odds and rightfully so.

    I love JDS but......it's a bluff

Cain gets him down and it'll be over in under 2 minutes

Well how many people have tried using submissions on Cain he has only had 11 fights. JDS may be able to surprise people with his BJJ.
