This might be the last one on NBC, and unfortunately its going head to head against UFC Rory vs Wonder Boy.

Who do you think fights on this card??

Knowing how Haymon operated, I wouldnt be too surprised to see Errol Spence vs Guerrero.

It will be a good back 2 back weekend for PBC, because Thurman/Porter is on the following week.

the card is in Chicago and fonfara is facing someone. Adonis?

Well considering Adonis bombed on his last card against Karpency

According to Big Dan it will most likely be Fonfara.

PBC broke for sure. This might to worse than the last one.

At least AlgierI and Spence were somewhat recognizable

Highly disappointed if this is true

Either that or PBC secretly secured a network deal (with Fox or Spike) and are saying screw you to NBC

Fonfara is not only a very good fighter he is also has an incredibly fan-friendly all action style. He gave Adonis all he could handle after being hurt badly and he crushed Chavez Jr into little pieces. With the big Polish fight fan population in chicago this will be a great event if he is facing anyone decent.

Being "highly disappointed" that Fonfara is headlining in Chicago is retarded. Saying he's not even "somewhat recognizable" is beyond retarded.

So we're Spence and Algieri. That didn't seem to draw viewers.

Listen, we all know you want PBC to fail. The fact good fighters don't get good ratings on PBC makes you incredibly happy. So acting like you are disappointed that a card might not have a big draw on it is ridiculous. You only care about big names no matter how washed up they are because you know nothing about boxing which is why you want Mosley to fight the top 10 welterweights in the world right now like you've said many times. You aren't fooling anyone. The worse a boxing event does the more you like it. At least drop the half-assed act and own up to it.

You thought I was happy with the Spence Algieri ratings? Go reread my posts.

Putting unknowns like Fonfara is gonna lead to failure, unless he somehow destroys Adonis in the rematch, which only drew 600k viewers in their first fight by the way.

Yeah, Fonfara who happens to be the WBC international lightheavyweight champion of the world is a an unknown because you said so. You've insulted Haymon and the PBC countless fucking times but you claim to be worried about them failing? That just proves my point. You hate boxing. You don't know shit about it either. You want punch drunk has been fighters to get wrecked by the best new guys in the sport so they can add a name on their resume and you can see a highlight reel knockout. That's despicable.

Most people understand that how good someone is doesn't equate to how many viewers they can draw. Broner sucks. He draws very well even against nobodies. The Gloworm and USS put on an incredible fight recently and didn't draw shit. So fucking what. Fans have been getting great fights all year long on easily accessible television channels. That is what matters to anyone who cares about the sport.

Fonfara is sort of unknown to casual fans which is unfortunate because he's a good TV fighter. He really deserves commendation for putting Junior on his ass.

This might be hard to understand, but free boxing on TV isnt actually free for the providers, nor is it unlimited.

Are you genuinely more interested in viewing figures than the fights? Are you losing any money over any of this? Why do you give a shit? Do you have viewing figures for re-runs of judge judy?

Because I want to see more free boxing on TV.

PBC folds and broadcast networks will think twice before putting boxing back on primetime again.

Do you ever watch fights from other parts of the world?

I just like seeing good fights as often as possible generally for free. If other people are doing different things and don't watch I don't run internet searches to find out how many tuned in at the same time as me.

You mostly post about your fascination with viewing figures of combat sports and cause pointless arguments with UFC fans passing through and boxing fans about "boxing is dying lol".

If PBC had a long term like UFC's 7 year deal with NBC or some other network I wouldnt care about ratings until the deal is nearly finished.

Because I want PBC to survive so I get free boxing on primetime TV

Considering Fonfara has never been a draw, the best fight they can do with him is vs Adonis. But wait, that fight already happened and drew 600k viewers.
Putting Fonfara in the main event makes no sense considering what he saw with Spence/Algieri. That weight class alone is just not popular enough to warrant a primetime TV main event
