I'm wondering if any Sherdoggers can offer any opinions on places to train Judo in the South Bay?

Norwalk too far away for you? I've heard lots of good things about Norwalk Judo.

Barring that, here's the Nanka Yudanshakai (Southern California Black Belts' Association) list of member clubs: great place to get started searching!

There are a ton of Judo clubs in the South Bay because that's where the biggest Japanese American community is, particularly Torrance/Gardena. I have never trained in that area, but our club recommends training at Taishi.

Torrance/Gardena is the mecca of traditional Japanese judo.
