Great news, the grammar in the article is pretty laughable though.

Hopefully it works out well for the competitions in the UK.

Ray Stevens is a fucking boss as well.

I think it's closer to the truth to say the BJA has created there own BJJ association to try and assume some sort of control over BJJ in the UK.

The UKBJJA has been around for a number of years, providing insurance for it's members, keeping a belt registry and this year even sponsoring athletes to attend the IBJJF europeans. The first any one has heard of the BJJUKA is this press release from the BJA. There is quite a lot of discord about this in the UK BJJ community, in particular from form judka who have crossed over in part tdue to how they feel the BJA has contributed to ruining judo

Nothing will come of this, no one has heard of this BJJ org and it doesn't have any support in the community.

Judo numbers are down, whilst Bjj is getting bigger. This is a poor attempt by the bja to cash in. It's never going to happen. The UK Bjj won't allow it.

I didn't realise this was the shitty BJJ organisation, that's pretty shit. So it's just an attempt to control BJJ then?
