Law Judge Hannah Dugan arrested by FBI for allegedly helping undocumented immigrant 'evade arrest'

Problem is, these lefty mods wont enforce these bets towards lefty members. So @AWilder won't get banned, wont get a pink belt, and i doubt he will self ban. But you will most certainly get a pink belt if you welch. And worst case get banned. But if you lose you should self ban, so theres that.
Pretty sure we've had posters in the War Room welch on bets before.

No doubt, but you can tell which ones actually got punished by their pink belts.
@Versez was the latest whelcher that got a pink belt. But i think he is a homosexual that likes his pink belt.

lol

Not too late to back down on the “they have no case” talk, lefties.

She isn’t even denying she purposely obstructed ICE and tried to help an illegal evade arrest. She’s also not denying that in of itself is against federal law.

She’s now simply throwing a Hail Mary by claiming “judicial immunity” saying that her obstructing ICE and helping a wanted criminal/illegal evade arrest was her acting in her official capacity and that the SCOTUS ruling on Presidential Immunity protects her(it doesn’t).

I do find it hilarious she managed to let her Trump Derangement and what I’m sure is her hatred of the Presidential immunity ruling define her entire defense though.

I don’t even think the Clinton Judge in charge of her case is going to pretend what her lawyers are selling is a thing.

Bad thing about going for this from the start is it basically admits guilt.

Sure bud.

If her case was so open and shut, why would all of these conservatives join her legal team?

Milwaukee County Judge Dugan defense, conservative joins legal team

"Attorney Paul Clement fought the Affordable Care Act, clerked for conservative Justice Antonin Scalia and later became President George W. Bush's solicitor general, which meant he led the federal government's cases at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Clement was raised in Cedarburg. Now, his work will take him to Milwaukee as part of Dugan's legal defense team – a team that also includes former U.S. Attorney Steven Biskupic, another Bush appointee."

This is going to get ripped to shreds in court.

It was a yes/no question when she was asked that. She is being questioned to have a lifetime appointment to the highest judicial seat in the country

And she obfuscated. It was a yes/no question, and she waffled.

She wasn't right when doing that in that situation.

But that's just my opinion and it's like an airhole. Everybody has at least one.
She answered the question correctly. You want her to make a ruling on an issue while she's testifying in front of Congress? That's not how it works, although that's exactly the purpose of Barrett being asked that. She didn't fall for the trap. Her saying it was settled law at the time of her hearing is correct because it was. That is NOT a promise to never overturn it, and I'm pro-choice too.

It was a simple yes/no question.

And we heard her answer.

Yeah, because there is no movement of Bush neocon “republicans” being vehemently anti Trump and siding with the left on every issue for nearly a decade.

It’s hilarious that lefties still reference these types like it’s some major walking across the aisle moment. I’m not familiar with this lawyer but if he has any social media to follow over the last 8 years. His politics are likely defined by being anti Trump like the whole “Never Trump” movement.

And on what’s grounds do you think this gets torn to shreds in court? Given that she isn’t arguing that she didn’t obstruct ICE or that doing so was against the law.

She’s trying to claim she immune even if she did break the law lol

EDIT: Clement apparently does a good job not having a big mouth unlike the Bulwark types, but apparently he was a little bitch about charges dropping against Eric Adams and since then has been jumping on all sorts of cases against the Trump admin. So, this is another. It doesn’t say anything about her case.

Lawyers go mad all the time

Lol at your backpedaling. Clement is a conservative giant federal court. There's reason why he's represented all of these cases against Trump.

Care to guess why?

Backpedaling what?

I’m still asking why you think this get torn to shreds if she’s not arguing that she didn’t try to help the illegal evade arrest from federal authorities in violation of federal law.

Sounds like she’s going for a long shot right off the bat of saying it’s OK for judges to break federal law lol

Have you read up the thread where I said that if she's tried and convicted, it is what it is? Of course not. You have nothing to add to the conversation except your failed dreams of becoming an American.

Sleep well boo-boo.
Who does one get tired and convicted ? I'm assuming an arrest a charges.....

Bro this is a constitutional crisis, some conservatives are on her side, therefore she's innocent.

Eh', account bets aren't ever signed off on. You'd actually have to trust the worthless troll to abide. He won't. Propose an Avatar bet and see how serious he is.
I'll take an avatar bet from you if you're chicken shit. Lmao what a bunch of soft Nancy boys.

You'd take a bet on this dumb shit? You trust anyone in the court system? It's a dice roll these days with the legal system.

This bitch was aiding and abetting a domestic violence suspect and illegal alien... Helping him evade ICE.

And she's a judge. Repeat that... She's helping an illegal alien from being deported. One who beat the shit out of his roommate. lol... Why does she believe that she's above federal law? lol...

I'll put it a least 50/50 that the "judge" overseeing her case has her same sympathies as her. I have almost zero faith left.

This bitch should get double the sentence due to her abuse of power and using her position to promote her personal views.

And in the end, the illegal alien was caught anyway.... Despite her trying to help him escape. wtf?

Take the bet Nancy

Law talkin' guy^

Apparently the "secret door" that the judge told the suspect to exit out of went into a hallway full of agents and they arrested him later.
