Law Judge Hannah Dugan arrested by FBI for allegedly helping undocumented immigrant 'evade arrest'

I'm waiting to see if a judge actually ignored the law. Forgive me if I'm skeptical of vague allegations from a government thats shown no regard for due process and the constitution aa it targets its perceived enemies.
If they didn’t have a judicial warrant (and if looks like they didn’t), then it’s a longshot even if you accept the affidavit as being true.

Looks like it’s more puffery from Team Kraken

This news contrasts nicely with Trump just pardoning a Nevada judge that was convicted of using funds raised to honor a fallen police officer... on her rent, her daughter's wedding and plastic surgery.
You see, that’s weaponization.

This is “should have complied” because different color jersey.

Didn’t they also say what AOC was doing was illegal? We’re just a fascist country at this point. There’s no denying it anymore. USA has become the very thing they once fought against

Hope it was worth it getting disbarred and sent to prison just to help an illegal alien escape ICE custody.
She’s not going to be disbarred or even convicted.

Or even go to trial for that matter.

This was intended to intimidate state and local judges into voluntarily handing over suspects in custody. And it will likely backfire.

Did you even bother to read the court doc? She literally sneaked the illegal alien out the back door, where ICE and DEA confronted, and chased him when he ran.

The sergeant asked that any arrest wait until after the completion of the scheduled hearing before Judge DUGAN. As this was standard practice, Deportation Officer A and CBP Officer A agreed, and they were allowed to proceed unescorted to the public hallway outside of Courtroom 615
They agreed that the arrest would take place after Flores-Ruiz’s court appearance. The agents then left the courtroom and took positions at different locations in the public hallway
The courtroom deputy explained that at approximately 8:15 am, FBI agents advised that they were working with ICE and were planning to arrest Flores-Ruiz. The courtroom deputy asked that the agents wait outside and arrest Flores-Ruiz after the hearing. The agents agreed and left the courtroom.
Multiple witnesses have described their observations after Judge DUGAN returned to her courtroom after directing members of the arrest team to the Chief Judge’s office. For example, the courtroom deputy recalled that upon the courtroom deputy’s return to the courtroom, defense counsel for Flores-Ruiz was talking to the clerk, and Flores-Ruiz was seated in the jury box, rather than in the gallery. The courtroom deputy believed that counsel and the clerk were having an off-the-record conversation to pick the next court date. Defense counsel and Flores-Ruiz then walked toward each other and toward the public courtroom exit. The courtroom deputy then saw Judge DUGAN get up and heard Judge DUGAN \say something like “Wait, come with me.” Despite having been advised of the administrative warrant for the arrest of Flores-Ruiz, Judge DUGAN then escorted Flores-Ruiz and his counsel out of the courtroom through the “jury door,” which leads to a nonpublic area of the courthouse. These events were also unusual for two reasons. First, the courtroom deputy had previously heard Judge DUGAN direct people not to sit in the jury box because it was exclusively for the jury’s use. Second, according to the courtroom deputy, only deputies, juries, court staff, and in-custody defendants being escorted by deputies used the back jury door. Defense attorneys and defendants who were not in custody never used the jury door.
A review of Flores-Ruiz’s Alien Registration File (“A-File”) indicated that Flores-Ruiz is a native and citizen of Mexico and that Flores-Ruiz had been issued an I-860 Notice and Order of Expedited Removal by United States Border Patrol Agents on January 16, 2013, and that Flores-Ruiz was thereafter removed to Mexico through the Nogales, Arizona, Port of Entry. There is no evidence in the A-File or DHS indices indicating that Flores-Ruiz sought or obtained permission to return to the United States.

I did, the problem here is that the FBI needs to prove that she committed a crime beyond a reasonable doubt.

And what's in that affidavit is almost certainly not going to get them anywhere close to that standard.

That's what I said, feel free to read it again and again until you get it.

I could care less. If it ends in her resigning, its a win in my book.

Two days ago we had a 71yo shop owner stabbed to death for confronting an 18yo trying to shoplift.

18yo has a mile long list of juvenile offences and had been granted bail 6 days previously while facing charges of rape, sexual assault of a child under the age of 16, aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, burglary and property damage.

Fuck the judges
And Australian sentencing guidelines are relevant to this case how? LOL @ this strawman.

In case anybody is confused by the approach TS has taken to this story

What she is accused of doing is against the law.

If any of us directly wanted to hide or otherwise aid somebody we knew was wanted by the Feds, we could face charges.

I don’t know why a left wing judge should get special treatment.

Big catch by Kash Money. And between her and the New Mexico judge. It begs the question of generally how deeply are democrats in league with TdA and other networks abetting illegal migration and gang activity?

That's probably not going to happen either.

How do you think a federal district judge is going to react when they could be facing the same sort of charges themselves someday?

That's why this is so unusual and most competent law enforcement agencies would never bring this case to an actual courtroom.
