168 in Sept and Jr will give up purse if misses wieght. Good PPV fight

Hey look, another guy we can add to the growing list of people who do not want to fight GGG at 160.

He could do it for the pay day, but all he'd get is a bunch of detractors saying, "See, told you he was afraid of Ward and Jacobs."

Is Andy Lee available? He might be the only middleweight I have not heard anything from regarding GGG. He's not with Haymon, he should step up for the title shot.

Shit fight. JCC is an irrelevant lazy bum.

I'd rather see him against Canelo at 155 than Jr at 168. Basically only a payday, will do nothing to raise GGG's standing.

It might get him more casual fans but not anywhere near the amount a Canelo fight would bring to the table.
true, but JCC Jr is a good option for star building until Canelo and GGG can agree to terms.

Fonfara knocked all the hype jcc Jr. has. Even the Mexicans have turned against him

Hmmm I don't know. It wouldn't really be a big fight to build star power. Just more of a draw than some of his other options. Besides they'd probably all be Mexican and would be bigger Canelo fans. Jacobs, Lee, Quillian would probably be better options.

true, he's done as a fighter, but he still has name value.
I dont think it does man. That fight with Fonfora pretty much got everyone to jump ship.

People still talked about him a lot up until that.

Chavez would never beat Golovkin but I would have actually liked to have seen this fight before Chavez got raped by Fonfara. Maybe it'd be nice even just to see Chavez get smacked around again.

I've always had my fingers crossed before every Junior fight that this would be the fight where he'd pull it all together and live up to his name. He's not a bad fighter, he's just a spoiled brat moron. He's shown flashes of greatness here and there, the late rounds against Sergio, the Andy Lee fight- but he's also displayed huge stretches of idiocy. I've given up on hoping those two balance out.

You know, reconsidering, this would actually be a very smart fight for Golovkin. Make a big deal about "having" to go up in weight to fight a Mexican star, spank Chavez and then the demand for a Canelo fight would be even greater.

Plus, who else is there for Golovkin? Its a gimme for the guy but why not? What opponent isn't a gimme aside from Canelo at 160 that he could actually fight?

Well, JCCjr needs to learn a bit more from Shannon Briggs... you got to raid some pressers, really talk yourself into the fight.

Honestly, I don't need to see the Chav get his head caved in, a pointless fight.

Vamos, Campeon! Vamos, Campeon!

Well it is Chavez junior and for some reason a couple of the belt orgs LOVE him so they can pull their usual bullshit. Lets see, Danny Jacobs is considering moving up and he's not mexican so he'll probably be stripped of his title before I finish typing this. Chavez constantly gets offered belts for no fucking reason so he should have Jacobs belt by tomorrow afternoon. Then he can fight GGG at 167 and that will somehow be the middleweight mandatory and for a belt right?

Nobody wants to see Golovkin adopt Chavez Jr.
