**HBO WILL REBROADCAST LAST WEEKS EPIC FIGHT BETWEEN MIGUEL COTTO & ANTONIO MARGARITO**

This Saturday in Palms Casino located in Sin City, Joshua Clottey and Zab Judah will collide for the IBF title vacated by Antonio Margarito. Expect lightning in a bottle the first four rounds as both fighters are known front runners. This could quite possibly be the greatest fight between two four round fighters!!! But in all seriousness, it should be a great fight that is quite difficult to pick a clear favorite. I, Allen aka melancholy duckie, will be siding with the granite chin and slightly better conditioned fighter in Clottey.

Here is some reading material for the unacquainted.

The first link talks about the history of Clottey and Judah and their confrontation in 2004 in Gleason's Gym. Second link is an analysis of the fighters and their careers.

As for the undercard, HBO will not broadcast the undercard. It is not like it's a compelling card anyway. It is essentially a bunch of undefeated contenders fighting cans for the most part. Easy wins... Showcase fights.

Sidenote: Zab's younger sibling, Joseph, will be fighting on the undercard. Judah has a pretty athletic family and does anyone have any information on Joseph? Does he have any sparks that can start a compelling career?

Boston, I know I am pissing on your stoop right now, but the main reason I made this thread was to make an AV/SIG bet. I will take Joshua Clottey.

Terms: Loser has to sport an AV & Sig chosen by the winner. The loser will have to sport his AV/SIG for a period of 2 MONTHS (nothing homoerotic).

**Not taking all comers. You have to be a regular in THIS forum.

For a second there I thought it said Joshua "The Hitler" Clottey.

This bet will be sanctioned.

All of the Judah Brothers CAN fight, but the ones that ain't Zab are usually used as name opponents. It's unfortunate, but true.

Jo was trained by Mike for a bit, as Zab has been for this fight.

Well, Joseph just started. Do you have more information on him?

Sorry, I had Joseph confused with Josiah, he's the one I know more about. I don't have much info on Joseph, only familiar with Josiah and Daniel.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ zab juda is zero he got KTFO when he got hozed by kosta snooze fest 101 man where are the real boxers at ? all retired

I like Clottey unless Judah catches him with something in the first 3 rds.

go Omar!! do you guys think this is Anthony's biggest test? will it be a blow out by Anthony or can Javier upset him?

Javi's got something left. He was practically laughing off Huerta's punches, the same Huerta who hurt Kid Diamond pretty bad in their fight.

"I am not going to lose this fight. No way," Judah declared at the news conference to announce the bout. "I have known Joshua Clottey for a long time, and I respect him. But as the old saying goes: 'The Bronx keeps on making it, and Brooklyn keeps on taking it.' I am taking it Aug. 2."

Nothing like quoting KRS-ONE, he almost got it right. "Manhattan keeps on makin it, brooklyn keeps on takin it Bronx keeps creatin it, and queens keeps on fakin it"

i like this step up for peterson.

javi helped tony get ready for cotto so there's a good chance javi is in-shape and ready to win a fight.

Judah came in at 143 for this fight.. I think that says a lot. He is not cutting at all before the fight. I just think thats one of about 3 things he has going against him..

1. He's a lot smaller
2. CLottey throws a lot of punches
3. Clottey has a good chin..

this is going to look like the Baldo fight only its going to accelerate into a one sided beating by the 5th or 6th and then the ko will follow shortly imo.
