War Josh Burkman, I see way too many people giving Josh next to no chance at all, I know he's fighting Lombard but seriously??? the same lombard that lost to tim botesch?

Josh is a monster, great all rounder, and if he can avoid hectors power in the 1st he could easily outstrike Hector to a decesion.

I got Josh via decision, and hopefully he doesn't miss his baby being born.

    War the peoples champ!

Great interview by josh just before the fight.

Married Burkman is no chump. I'd be surprised if even a beast like Lombard destroys him in the first.

You're right, his chances descent the more you learn about Lombard and how scary this guy is as nobody wants to fight him.

lombard n josh are both human and at the end of the day god didn't give lombard anything special, he's just got short man syndrome and trex arms, soo he chose to lift and big muscles and thinks he's alpha as fucck, i'd take him on without hesitation in the cage, but i already know the end result. me asleep quicker than jay silva.

I definitely do agree, and I feel this is one of the riskier bets I've ever made (on Lombard).

If Lombard loses that will be the official end to my MMA betting career.

Lombard gasses and Burkman's never been knocked out. More I think about it the worse this bet is lol. Guess that's why they call gambling an addiction

People keep bringing up MW fights when talking about Lombard at WW like Tim wouldn't kick the shit out of 90%+ of the WW division if they fought him at MW.

Tim would manhandle and whoop Burkman just like Lombard will.

I agree. He's definitely going to descend after fighting Hector.

I agree I feel Lombard is more of a 1 round fighter, if he doesn't blow you out in the first round he looks less than impressive.

Burkman has a well rounded skillset if he can survive the first he has a very good chance IMO.

You need not worry friend. Lombard will murder him. He is out to make a statement on a Jon Jones card.

Plus, God already smiled at Burkman when he fucked Celeste. I think he used up his angel cards.

Burkman does have a good chance here to put himself right in the top 10 if he can weather the storm of Lombard.

Josh is a gritty veteran but I do question if hes slick enough to pull something off against Lombard. Outworking a heavily muscled man seems the only scenario for Burkman imo.

To all thinking that Burkman may win if Lombard can't knock him out... Have you seen Lombard throwing around Shields like it was sparring session? Burkman only survives to the decision because of his toughness.

Really? I don't see him out striking or out grappling Lombard. Lombard looked very impressive against Shields and that went 15 minutes and he's gone more than 4 rounds at MW.

This seems like a statement fight for Lombard, I just don't see where Burkman is a threat to him.

'The Descent' is a great movie, have the BluRay too. As for the fight, Burkman will get KTFO.

If he fights smart and fights a perfect fight I could imagine him draining Hector's limited gas tank and winning. I think he is prone to leaving himself to open though. Taking shots from Hector, no matter how tough you are, is a bad strategy. We'll see though, I am sure he knows that.
