Someone gotta win, someone gotta lose.
Just tellin ya what the logic behind the matchmaking is.
Logic and UFC are like oil and water.

Its the fight business. All of them do this.Logic and UFC are like oil and water.
Looks like he wants to make one last run to the title

I dont think he feels slighted. He's gettin paid and they keep givin him fights. He CHOSE to re-sign with UFC. Theres no way he gonna beat Volk or Max. He probably dont beat Cejudo either so im glad they aint makin that fight yet.Water is wet, desert is dry...young eating the old happens, all of the time.
Story as old as time itself.
Aldo however seems to really turn up in these moments.
I think he feels slighted...losing to Max and Volk is one thing but it seems like he takes these younger cats personal.
Nice to see the UFC continue to feed Aldo to guys who have hardly any name value and hope they win, building themselves off of his. Such is life in MMA for the aging veterans.
Aldo has issues with pressure fighters who can push forward and make him reactive; cause damage and make him work. He needs to find a way to negate the pressure and keep Mario off of him. It's more difficult than ever as his reflexes are slower and his ability to see incoming offense is diminished. Skill for skill, Aldo should win, but he'll hit the wall eventually.

Aldo is a terryfying fighter. Him at MW, LHW and HW would have been unreal if he was big enough.
I always thought that, on paper, Aldo had the perfect counter to pressure by simply incorporating takedowns. He actually has good takedowns. And his top game is elite.
I guess takedown attempts would also drain too much of his energy...
He could but the odds are probably against him.You don't think he'd beat Cejudo sir?
You sniffin glue again? Lol
Huge difference...Merab is a cardio machine, and Cejudo is not.Even if Aldo is still UNTAKEDOWNABLE he could get smothered like he did against Merab
