It exposed his lack of TDD and getting up from bottom, it also showed superior striking to Mendes and Aldo, also showed he's durable, and is one of the mentally strongest fighters in the game who doesn't break under pressure.

If anything it showed what we all expected, but answered a lot of other questions about his heart and how his striking stack up against the top of the division.

Can't they just move weigh-ins to three days before the fight or something like that? There's a lot more time to recover from the weight cut without the IV there.

The Mendes fight exposed Conor more than most bias fans realize. Too many holes to be a special fighter.

But he won. Great. You guys should enjoy this while it lasts. He should give us a couple fun years.

Lol, so he lacks D1 wrestling and an offensive guard, therefore he isn't a special fighter? Come now, I know you aren't being serious, but that's ridiculous. Put most of the top guys on their back and see how great they look, even many top BJJ guys in MMA don't have a great guard.

First (and only) guy to make Holloway look totally out of his depth on the feet, first (and only) guy to walk through Poirier like it was nothing. Showed that he only needs precious little time on the feet to finish an elite guy like Mendes. He's a special fighter, whether you like it, want to admit it, or not.

Dennis Siver kicked him off his feet twice with leg kicks... Mendes did more damage to Conor in 2 rounds than GSP received when he went on his 33 rounds win streak.
