Jose Aldo had to overcome an uncomfortable obstacle last week. With kidney stones, popularly known as kidney stone, the featherweight champion (until 66kg) UFC had to be hospitalized last Friday at Samaritan Hospital in Rio de Janeiro. The fighter received treatment due and, on Saturday morning, managed to expel the stone. He had a medical discharge soon after and returned to training since the afternoon of the same day. The bout against Chad Mendes at UFC 179, so it is guaranteed. The Combate.com confirmed the information with the coach and entrepreneur Jos

I have kidney stones and it hurts like.. something that really hurts, haha.
I have had 2 "attacks" so far, I thought I was dying lol.
Do not wish it upon anyone. Haven't got rid of even one of them, though.
And it's really not good for him to cut weigh while having those, that's for sure. You gotta drink a lot when you have kidney stones. I wouldn't be surprised if it will (or already did) happen to him while cutting weigh, the attack. It happened to me when I was drinking very little during the day.

NU needs to get their weight cutting program under control. Their fighters are passing kidney stones now from all the weight cutting. These guys are shortening their lives and hurting their own well-being to make weight instead of fighting in a more legit and appropriate weight division.

I'm sure the Aldo haters will come up with something to bitch about

Yup. It will probably be something like

"he's already making excuses for when Mendes beats him up"

And they will fit the fence grab gif in there somehow.

And I'm happy as hell I drink at least 2 gallons of water a day. Never would I want to go through that kind of pain. I know it isn't just about drinking more water but still....

This is the second time the guy has had kidney stones in the last year. What the fuck man.

It's most likely the weight cutting.
I don't care how succesful they are inside the cage the guy in Nova Uniao who is resposnible for the fighters cutting that much weight is insane and I don't care that BArao defends him what that guy is doing is insane. Aldo gets kidney stones every few months, Barao passes out before a title fight and one guy died it's just insane he's shortening not only careers but also lifes having them cut that much weight

You nailed it. Nova Uniao needs to get their program under control. Pretty soon their cash cow's performances will start to be affected by it. That should send a message.

So everyone that says it is because of weight cutting is ignoring where it said Aldo has had problems with kidney stones since he was 16?
