Finally made enough money to get on the clear. TST. Noice.
There's a new test coming out for this summer.

TLDR:
The testing technique, developed by the Florida Institute of Technology, aims to differentiate between naturally occurring hormones that may be difficult distinguish from those meant to mimic them.
The technique comes as designer steroids continue to be developed with an aim at thwarting testing procedures.
My take on this is most of these guys are not even using designer drugs because they don't need to. We know USADA doesn't do full testing. They rely very heavily on the TE ratio test combined with the Genetic Passport. If no red flag appears they move on.
They are all probably using genetically identical Testosterone. Because of the generous TE ratio allowed under WADA athletes can take all they would ever really need and never set off a test regardless of when they took it.
It actually gets more interesting with stuff like EPO since they never test for it. All of these tests even the standard mass spectrometry tests are expensive but the ones used to catch harder to detect drugs is significantly even more so. The solution is simply not to test.
When you see guys/gals get caught it's probably because they tripped the ratio test and further testing sealed their fate.
USADA trips the alarm and finds something around 1-2% of all tests. It's basically a statistical anomaly to get caught. You have to be a complete moron and completely fuck up to get caught.
Considering the level of idiocy in MMA gyms in general I'm honestly surprised USADA's success rate is so low. You would think people that are professional fuckups would fuckup more but that is not the case.
I don't know if that speaks to the level of incompetence or lack of even the most basic testing practices in place or the game is so rigged in the favor of cheaters that it's basically at a point where they are just checking off boxes on a form and as long as they don't forget to check those boxes a few dozen times a year they just never get flagged.
