For the Khabib rematch.
Conor needs it. Will he do it...?
Conor could spend the next 10 years practicing wrestling, he'll still never be in the same realm as Khabib when it comes to grappling.
You'd have to be crazy to reject such high level training! Whomever you are.
You don't need Burroughs when you have Artem.
Would have meant much more if Burroughs was actually undefeated against Russian wrestlers, lmao.
All he really needs is takedown defense.
He did well in Round 3. Just needs to work on his stamina and offensive BJJ
Nothing Conor will do will bridge the grappling gap. Khabib has been grappling since a very early age and is physically stronger than Conor.
Remember Conor could made FW, Khabib missed weight, pulled out due to a weight cut, and apparently had a seizure to make weight for Conor. Just because Khabib doesn't look jacked doesn't mean he isn't dense as fuck and heavy for LW. There is a reason he out muscles everybody at LW.
If they do fight again Conor should just go for broke, ala Diaz 1. He has to just drain the tank and hope something connects. His game plan to weather the storm for 3 rounds was the worst title fight gameplan I've ever heard of.
I still don't believe that Khabib's striking is as good as people think. One quick overhand off a TD feint doesn't change that. That's Conor's only chance to victory, and it's slim. The multi year layoffs and drinking fight week sure ain't fucking helping either.
You say that like that's an easy thing to accomplish against a wrestler the quality of khabib.
He did well in Round 3?
What did he do? Not get finished?
Khabib stood with Conor the entire third round. Played to Conor's strength. Conor did nothing.
Irrelevant, Aldo developed the goat TDD training in a small room with BJJ artist
Jordan may be a great wrestler, but maybe he's not a great coach
Conor will never close the grappling gap
Conor just got ragdolled around for 2 rounds and was coming off a long layoff. The point is it's not like it was 4 rounds of total destruction, Conor edged out the 3rd round. If he actually went out there and went for broke, it would be interesting. Not saying he would win but he should definitely have a warm up fight prior to Khabib again, and cut out the whiskey shit fight week.
Khabib failed to take him down
khabib won the fight.
Conor needs to sort his cardio issue, there were openings in the third round he simply couldn't exploit due to poor cardio.
Yes I'm aware, we are discussing what Conor can do to do better in the rematch.
why would he train with Buroughs when he already has the better version of Khabib in his camp, Dillon Danis?
That's great lol.
Conor told Floyd to fuck off when he offered to train him. He’s to stubborn for help.
Separate names with a comma.
