Did anyone see anything in him that could be exploited.

Constant Pressure seems to be his weakness, fighting on the backfoot. Gus could really hurt him if he put the pressure on. Gus is the only one at LHW with the frame to handle Jones' reach.

Nothing that I wouldn't expect him to work and improve on until his next fight. Sure, there are some parts of his game that are more evolved than others but everything he does works for him and it doesn't leave a lot of openings for his opponents. With him getting more and more well-rounded it will get progressively harder for his opponents to take advantage of these defeciencies.

His weakness is that he's too much of a nice guy.

A technical striker with reach and good TDD. A bit like that Swede.

The only thing I see is that he can be hit.

Hand speed. Boxing technique (some jabs from an orthodox stance might have been interesting). That is about it. I think Jones has everything required to succeed, including heart and will.

Gus has the physical gifts and confidence to take it to Jones

    But i don't think he'll beat him

I dont see a point in his game weak enough to bother targeting really, styles make fights so far gus stylistically has been his toughest match so being similar to him in size and frame seems to be his only weakness lol

Seems that uppercuts in the clinch cause big problems for him. He needs to polish that up if he doesn't want to have big problems with Gus again.

Jones' boxing is his biggest weakness. That's why Gus got the better of him with his hands as well as cormier. The problem is, Jones has good stamina and is a durable guy.

Gus is still Jones' biggest threat.

What I noticed and where DC was able to strike Bones was in the clinch. Jones left his chin vulnerable to upper cuts. but im sure that will change by the nest fight

The jab too. Cormier has a significant reach disadvantage and he was landing some good jabs.

Watch Gus jab the fuck out of Jones in a rematch.

Jones has a weakness when he finds holes in the mat and breaks his toe in them.....

His boxing defense is the weakest part of his game.

That is how to beat Jon, though is by outboxing him and landing uppercuts in the clinch.

Gus can pull it off but I am never betting against Jon.
