Thoughts on his first two fights? How did he look? Did he look average or did he look great? Long time ago but I'm sorta interested to hear opinions on those two fights.

He looked amazing.
He'd been doing mma for 8 months and suplexing a vet like Bonnar
It was evident to me that he was special

He was amateur with his striking but you could see he was something special. Reckless yet was dominating and had flash of brillance from time to time during both fight.
He was still new to the game espacially in the Gusmao fight. The Bonnar fight was thr 1st time I saw Bones and I remember feeling that he's gonna be good as hell.

im my opition his elbow to bonner hit the back of his head so it should of been a dq and I watched the judges steal the belt from gus as well.

Slowed down a bit in the third round against Bonnar, but you could tell he was gonna be something special.

He was teeing off on Bonnar and throwing him around like a sack of potatoes. He made Bonnar look like an amateur
