Jones vs DC 2: more close or less close fight?

How doy ou think?
Some thoughts.
DC improvements:
- more tested in LHW and in 5 round fights (and generally faced more adversity).
- wouldnt this time underestimate Jones
- Cain in camp
- He is Champ now

DC minuses compared to first fight:
- Dropped from Gus and Rumble (chin)
- He is older now
- Long layoff
- Maybe worst mentality

Jones improvements:
- This is rematch, so his camp and strategy (Jackson vs AKA) advantage would be even bigger.
- No coke (?)
- Motivation better
- He is stronger now
- He know how to beat DC

Jones minuses:
- Layoff (his version vs OSP was awful)
- Lifting (?)
- USADA testing

Usually #2 is hungrier and learns more from the first fight. So I would wager on it being more competitive.

To be honest i dont think it will be much diferent then the 1st ... but i hope it will be diferent ... and this is a critical fight for Cormier , so in that sense it probably will be a diferent kind of War ... im just really interested in watching how Cormier is gonna aproach this fight and how he is gonna implement is game.

Less competitive. Jones got to shake some ring rust off with OSP. DC coming in after a long layoff and knee recovery. Jones will be aiming to take out that bum knee early and pick him apart in a boring fight but one sided decision.

I totally agree. I do feel that if DC doesn't find success early he is going to mentally shut down. DC needs to take Jones down early to prove to himself that he can. That said I don't think DC has what it takes to beat Jones. Cain being in his corner makes no difference. If Cain was a LHW he would lose to Jones as well.

I think DC will win this time, because he is riding the momentum of big wins over top guys. He will overwhelm Jones. Be able to secure the takedowns early this time.

I think the war with gus , cain coming back to train him and the first fight letting dc know jones weight etc will give dc an advantage
