That fight never happened. Shogun got injured days before the fight and was forced to withdraw. Shogun retired the next month as the undisputed champion and graciously handed the belt to Jones. Shogun never fought again and will be remembered as the GOAT LHW.

! of the worst nights in watching MMA for me. I was watching with a buddy of mine who was a Jones nuthugger since his fight with Bonnar and was a newer fan of the sport. I've watched since Shoguns Pride GP run. So we talked a lot of trash leading up to the fight, and the way Shogun was utterly worked combined with his shit talk during the fight had me like...
