Jones v. Cormier suddenly looks more appealing to me than Jones v. Gus II. Anyone agree?? DC looks like he could, not just beat, but destroy Jones. Good God, what he did to Hendo was terrifying.

If you ignore he is 43, off TRT (199lb), Is now 1-4 in his last 5 fights (The win being a fight he was getting his ass kicked in by another over the hill fighter).

No way. We know Gus came VERY close to beating Jones. We have no idea how Cormier would do against him. He's a much smaller and shorter guy and Jones has historically beat the crap out of his smaller opponents.

It's a tough call where either guy can make a solid case I think. I think I'd rather see Cormier because he is 35 and who knows how long he can keep moving like this.

I want to see the rematch first then whoever wins faces the human suplex machine Daniel "Taz" Cormier. :icon_lol:

We also know Gus didn't beat Jones, we haven't seen Cormier try.

    Gus.

Even if I think Jones would be a bigger favourite over Gus than Cormier, I think it will be a more fun fight

gustafsson, the guy who destroyed him the first fight

and jj is really in a tight spot

he cant really duck anyone, cause if he ducks gus, theres cormier right after, and if he ducks cormier, theres the mauler

maybe he will ask to fight rumble, ha (and i really dont fucking doubt that)

Oh man, it has to be GUS vs JONES - the way sherdog has been diving and clamoring about the first fight - we def need part 2 to settle it.

Gus should get it of course.

Cormier should get the winner, as he's an immense threat to both of them.

Plus if Gus wins it will keep Jones from getting a bullshit "INSTANT REMATCH FOR LONG REIGNING CHAMPS" that we're all tired of.

Rematch of FOTY or a likely 5 round marginal clinch battle?

Eh, I'll take the steak before the cauliflower.

It's amazing how fast Rumble's stock rose with a decision win over Davis. DC has nothing left to prove and should be given a title shot after Jones/Gus II.

Give Lil Nog a different fight, or better yet, a wheelchair and make Cormier/Rumble for the next title shot.

Just don't eliminate the contenders. Jones Gus II then Cormier gets winner. If Rumble keeps winning he will be in line

dc needs to fight rumble first

two wins at LHW is not enough to warrant title shot

5...and his last win was a whooping of Phil Davis, which is much better than beating a 2014 Hendo.
