Media Jones thinks you are crazy if you think Gane is a more technical kickboxer than Thiago santos

Jones talks trash to try to get Gane to come out overly aggressive, exert too much energy, and gas by the third round. Then Jones trips Gane, softens him up with hellbows, and chokes him out when Gane rolls to his belly. It's a solid game plan.

I mean if Santos was Gane size I think he'd be even more technical than Gane. But Gane's technique + size is better than Santos for sure. Jon does have a point about speed probably not going to be anything he hasn't seen before, it'll be the power. Gane landed some pretty hard punches on Tai.

Getting KO'd by an old David Branch in the 1st round is the definition of technical striking. It's like going 15-rounds with Sugar Ray Leonard back in the 80s. Seriously, why Santos? Jones fought Machida, Belfort, Rampage, Shogun, Gus, etc....all were better strikers than Santos.

Hes right.

You are crazy.

Prime LHW Santos and prime Reyes >Gane

If Jon doesn't pursue and get takedowns early, he might be in for a long night.

So technical. Next level technicality, once in a lifetime. He's a monster. Hands down, chin up, moving in a straight line, throwing same two punches over and over again. If do right, no can defense.

WHo is more dangerous brada, Santos or Brock Lesnar?
Actually Belcher with his awful Johnny Cash tat on his shoulder. I like Johnny Cash. And I like Belcher. But that tattoo....you can probably win some fights just by distracting your opponents with it...just like Thor hammers.

Santos used to be good but then his leg gave out in that fight and he hasn't been the same since.

You mean the fight where Jon Jones attacked his legs 32 times? Yeah, that'll happen.

This fight is one of my favorites in looking at people and their bias (and hate) towards Jones. Santos won round 1, Jones outworked him in 2-5, landed more strikes overall, and controlled the times they were clinching...but around these parts, you'd think Jones stood there like a punching bag and got gifted a decision.
