Jones' open fists

yeah they should deduct a point in the first round off Jones next time and make him watch a video about eye poking.....ask Gordeau

Jones's strategy really seems to be use his long arms and fingers to keep fighters on the outside and then kick them in the knees until they are so frustrated they run into a spinning elbow or they clinch.

Attacking the eyes and knees, doesn't get much lower in combat sports.

I like it when one fighter gets eye poked and then retaliates with a cup check. Kongo perfected the skill.

Obviously this is a problem with Jones, and obviously it will never be corrected because it gives him an advantage and will never cost him anything.

Fighters have complained about Jones and his fingercrane technique, but it hasn't made a difference. Hopefully they will start complaining about it BEFORE the fights, and publicly.

Yeah, attacking knees, what's up with that?

Attacking your opponent, what's up with that in combat sports?

It's one thing if it's a lock, the fighter has the chance to tap. Deliberate and repeated front kicks to the knee is fucked up. Athletes cannot work without functioning knees.

100%

The only way we're going to get anything done is calling guys out in advance. Jon Jones has habitually used fingertips-to-the-eyes as his primary striking defense. It's literally his go-to move - straight arm your opponent with fingers out.

Whoever is fighting him next needs to bring it up early and often leading up to the fight.

Attacking the face, what's up with that? Athletes cannot work without a functioning brain.

Big john reprimanded him for it..

Also, it was pretty cool when he tried the same with Gus and got smacked in the face around his extended arm :)

Yeah, but it's cool to hate on Jon, hence this and many other shitty threads.

That's not the same thing at all, it was a punch where the thumb hit UNDER the eye. You can clearly see it in the replay. Wasn't an eye poke by any means, Rogan is blind.

no he did not

rogan needs glasses or a bigger monitor and you need to use your own eyes

super slowmotion hd replay and people still eat up rogans bs

And people see the picture (the one a few posts above) with Jones hand with the fingers out in the eyes of Gustafsson and they say those two things are the same and we are just haters? LMAO Jon fanboys, delusional as always.
