Simply put lately he is just a little better than his opposition. He puts it all together and ends up with a decision thats less dominate than the old gsp days.

No one will put up a great performance on him, because of his clinch/stall
Its just annoying to watch fights like that.

Don't be dumb. Jones is obviously great given the competition he's faced, even if I think Gus would beat him on a 2nd fight.

Lol shut the fuck up. 49-46 on all scorecards and everyone agrees that's his second toughest fight yet.

Just outclassed an undefeated Olympic wrestler who fought at HW

That fight was highly enjoyable. It was a former HW contender out muscled by the LHW champ. Most post I have seen on twitter and people I watched it with also enjoyed it.

He wins, essentially what you're saying is you don't like watching it. That's fine for you to think that, but understand that you not being entertained doesnt mean hes not great

If Jones isn't great, then name a great MMA fighter.

haha, if this good fighter is the champ, 8 title defenses in, then that pretty much means there are no great fighters at 205.

    you're silly...

he absolutely dominated everyone he fought except guss and cormier and then with cormier, he still clearly won, and in that case you have to take a good look at who the fuck cormier is: a 15-0 guy who was a top 3 (if not top 2) heavyweight with not only no losses but never even lost a round despite fights with josh barnett and frank mir...former heavyweight champions (not to mention bigfoot silva and roy nelson)

that's the guy that jones just 49-46'd tonight and took down multiple times (the same guy who threw josh barnett over his head a couple of times and ragdolled dan henderson like he was a little kid... got taken down easily 5 times by jon jones)

Jones is a great fighter. He's a douchebag, but the guy is undeniably a great fighter.

I'm not a huge fan of Jones as a person, but as a fighter? He's not great? Come on. You gotta have some really high standards for greatness if you don't think he's a great fighter.

If you make the dominate/dominant mistake again, you and I are going to have words. Don't make me come down there and pull that weave out yo head.
