It does seem a bit excessive. But Jones has two NFL brothers that are 300lbs and 265lbs: His brother Chandler in particular has the same 6'5" frame and is a jacked 265lbs with amazing speed and athleticism. I don't think it makes much for Jon to put on mass, and it's likely that he'll retain most of his speed and agility.
