Talk is cheap both ways. This is going to be a big fight one way or the other. IMO and I know many will disagree but I think Jones would rather fight DC and is more confident because he has his usual advantages that he will absolutely rely on rather than fighting Gus who nullified his size and reach advantages and battered Jones like he had never been battered before.

1. It's quite obvious that Jones is on a completely different level not just than those 2 guys, but than anyone Cormier has fought at HW too. Jones is more athletic, more dynamic, and uses functional strength better than any of those guys by far. He's in a completely different league, and everyone knows it.

2. That "everyone" I just mentioned included Daniel Cormier. I can't believe Cormier is going to go into this fight thinking he'll be able to do what he's done to these other guys to Jones. He's gotta know that he'll have to make adjustments because of what Jones brings into the cage. Cormier is a smart, super talented guy so he might be able to make those adjustments and have success.

I pick Jones to win, but I don't think either guy is going to have some big surprise for the other. They both know they are fighting an elite guy.
