D.C.- Second best light heavyweight ever, Jones Tko’d him second fight.

Gustafsson -Gave Jones the toughest fight of his career, absolutely destroyed him in the second fight.

Dominick Reyes ,Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos are just average fighters so Jones fights like an average fighter. Give him a real world class fighter please.

    1. Roids

    2. Got wrecked in the first fight so your theory doesn’t work

    3. Likely off the roids and thus an average fighter himself

He’s older and slowing down. The guys he is fighting now are quicker and more athletic. It’s a matter of time before he gets Knocked out.

Biggest myth in the sporting world. An excuse for lackluster performances that fans try to tell themselves.

Just like when Amanda out-pointed point-fighting queen Shevchenko, Jon beat his last three opponents by out-averaging them.

    1. Talent

    2. Actually won the first fight. Recovered and showed the heart of a champion, like Silva against Chael 1 - something GSP never accomplished.

    3. GOAT. PED bitches need to stfu.

It’s reach and height. He smokes everyone who he significantly outreaches easily and struggles against blokes his own size. It’s pretty much been the same for all the lanky goats. McGregor, Silva, Jones, Holloway. Meet their reach and they can no longer strike without being susceptible to the counter.

Wrong. He destroyed a very good Gus in the second fight. Gus and Jones are pretty much equals in size. Not only equal in size, but Gus is a solid top 3 LHW and the clear number 2 when they fought both times

Of course they have to be close to their prime. Probably didn’t deserve the rematch at the time. Jan and Glover aren’t top tier wins. Plus he carries so much useless fat now, which has caused him to slow down so much. Agility and small movements/adjustments especially. An immediate rematch or within a year or two of the first match would have been interesting still.

But Jones has aged much better, he carries mostly functional weight still.
