Jones has publicly stated that he felt he won the second, fourth, and fifth rounds while he thinks Gus won the first and third. His coach Greg Jackson thought the same on fight night.

Like many Gus fans, I thought Gus won the first three rounds. I just don't see how Jones thinks he won that second round.

In reality, Gus won 19/25 minutes of that fight.

I'll concede the fourth and fifth, but Jones did not win the second round on little baby leg kicks. You've got to be kidding me if you think that.

Im not sure Gus won any round definitively to be honest with you guys, I mean he got a quick surprise takedown when Jones wasn't expecting it and cut above his brow with a glancing hit but other then that, never wobbled him, they just stood there and traded until Jones came in the clutch with the round 4/5 massacres to seal up as champs do.

Jones scored a draw at best. Judges scores were quite suspicious.

Regardless, the judges as incompetent as they may be rendered their decision.

    Now it's rematch time.

What makes me laugh is most fans think they have to be a fan of one or the other. Im a fan of both Gus and Jones, but the reality of the situation is that the fight was very close. Hence a rematch is warranted.

After rewatching it it wasn't hard to see. Gus landed almost nothing while Jon took the center of the cage and landed with more volume. Neither of them did anything great that round.

I'd have to rewatch it, but I'm wanting to say he landed quite a few head kicks?

You're not even attempting to make a case for why Gustafsson won round 2 but instead are talking about what Jones did and didn't do. I just rewatched the round and would give it to Jones based on strikes landed to the head, body , and legs (yes, leg kicks count for something) and on being the aggressor.

This round honestly could have been a 10-10, but if I had to give it to someone it would have been Jones.

It was a close fight. Every round was close. I would have been happy with a draw but I thought Gus did more damage so I thought he won. Jones's face afterwards backed up what I saw.
