I don't understand some things. Maybe someone can explain it to me.
First, the REACH.
Jon Jones
Height 6 ft 4 in (193 cm)
Reach: 84.5 in (215 cm)
Stefan Struve (tallest guy from UFC, 20 cm taller than Jones, smaller reach)
[Height 2.13 m (7 ft 0 in)
Reach 84 in (213 cm)
Deontay Wilder (boxing champion)
Height 6 ft 7 in (201 cm)
Reach 83 in (211 cm)
Tyson Fury (boxing champion)
Height 6 ft 9 in (206 cm)
Reach 85 in (216 cm)
Anthony Joshua (boxing champion)
Height 6 ft 6 in (198 cm)
Reach 82 in (208 cm)
Wladimir Klitschko (boxing champion)
Height 1.98 m (6 ft 6 in)
Reach 206 cm (81 in)
Francis Ngannou (random black guy from HW, same height as Jon Jones)
6 ft 4 in (1.93 m)
Reach 83.5 in (212 cm)
Rico Verhoeven (kickboxing champion)
Height 1.96 m (6 ft 5 in)
Reach 77.0 in (196 cm)
And the list can continue. All these guys are taller / much taller or the same height than Jones, and have inferior reach. Except Tyson Fury and the difference is very small. I don't understand how it can be possible because the difference looks too big. Struve is 20 cm and still has an inferior reach. Usually, taller guys have a longer reach and smaller guys have a short reach.
The second thing is the SIZE
At the weight in, the results were:
Daniel Cormier (205) vs Jon Jones (204.5)
How is that possible?
Jones is much taller than Cormier. Also, had a bigger back during the fight. Sure, you can say that:
1. Cormier has fat around the belly. OK, but this time he was not that fat, and also, fat is much less dense than muscle.
2. Jones has skinny legs. But I don't buy it, only the calves, his legs are not skinny.
Thanks for your answers,
