Jones back training

That would be Greg Jackson and yes, Greg told jones not to take the fight and jones listened to Greg and declined.

His warrior spirit has always been guided by Greg and he is a good student.

Greg should have told him not to use cocaine.

No its not what ever. im not discrediting him im discrediting your statement of him having a warriors spirit. Tj dillashaw fought a guy on a days notice for his newly acquired title. John had two weeks and still said no... to the point of it affecting the entire show.

So no he certainly doesnt deserve that title. Bad ass fighter sure. But not a warrior like others who will fight whom ever is put infront of them when ever its needed. Take a shower and burn your clothes.

You're not describing a warrior, you are describing a stupid athlete. Well not all, because the risk vs reward is different for everyone.

We actually have three guys in this thread that think Jones wouldn't get an immediate rematch when/if he ever loses.

Rematches and trilogys are so last year bro

Wants to fight 3 times this year. It's possible because he already had one in. But don't' know who the third one would be against.

I can't even think of who the 2nd guy would be. I don't think he beats Gus, but if he does there is nobody left.

But common sense for those that have it lives on.

Commom sense is for dana to make mo money. If thats a rematch he will do it. If its giving Cormier another shot at jones regardless of the belt he will do that.

Yeah, taking on a Chael on two weeks notice would just be totally reckless, 'stupid'...

Also, running from the Gus rematch he won 'by the skin of his teeth', and whining about the contenders not having to fight each other, that's just being 'smart'.

Common sense says the viewer would want to see Jones rematch his lose over fighting someone he already beat. This common sense stuff is tough for you I see.

A rematch that Gus pulled out of and not jones. Sadly Gus got injured but he is the one who pulled out of the rematch and not Jones.

Also Whining and telling the truth are two different things. He was asked a question and gave an answer and one that many of us already stated. These contenders were getting softballs in terms of contendership matches and many felt that.

These guys were not fighting each other and were being coddled and many people were stating that on sherdog and around the net. It is fine to want jones to fight the best because there is no one else but many were calling a spade, a spade and felt what jones said was absolutely correct.

Again. Dana and co will work out which will make more money and go that way. See Hendricks and lawlers most recent cancelation. Common sense would also say dillashaw should protect his title by not being a 'stupid athlete' and refusing to fight soto on a days notice. so fuck common sense.

Yeah and that would be Jones attempting to avenge a lose. No other Jones fight or LHW combination of fighters would make more money, except some wild shit like Jones moving up to HW against a contender or the Champ. Common damn sense.

There are numerous possibilities. Injuries for one. Drug tests for another. Common sense does not always prevail. But you can keep arguing your point if it makes you feel better.

Signs someone loss a argument: They attempt to skew the main topic of the conversation.

The argument being: Which match up makes more money and sense (Of course Jones attempting to avenge a loss).

Gus pulled out from the jones match. Not jones fault by any means, except here it is.

Gus-Rumble winner than a HW title shot agains Werdum by end-year.

I hope he got his testosterone checked before going back, or at the gym they may want him to use the ladies's toilet.
