So like all of you I laughed hard AF when Jones and Silva used the penis pill excuse to explain their positive tests. It just seemed ridiculous that some Viagra-like substance would cause an athlete to piss hot for anabolic steroids.
However not only do I now believe that Jones and Silva are telling truth but I also want to thank them for giving me the knowledge to possibly help my father. For the last few months my father's behavior became very erratic and violent. On separate occasions he pushed my mother to the ground, punched my sisters boyfriend and threatened to kill our neighbors dog if he kept crossing onto our property to shit.
He was just generally very angry and liable to go off on anyone. My mom mustered up the courage to suggest to him that he go to therapy for his anger. He refused and his condition remained the same.
A few days ago it finally struck me. I went to my mother and told her we needed to have a private and serious conversation. I asked her if my father was on some type of Viagra-like substance. She held out for a few minutes but finally confessed that my dad was indeed using such pills. And I blurted out "Whoa!! Dad might be Roided to the gills and having roid rage as a result. Some fighters who use that stuff have been testing positive for steroids."
When we told my father and showed him the articles about Jones and Silva he agreed to stop taking his pills. He has been so much better lately.
