Both have 28 fights. GSP 12 wins by decision, Jones 10 by decision. Like neck and neck.
Jones always thought of as some great finisher while GSP thought of as a decision machine. Jones did finish Gus in the 2nd fight(which Gus didn’t have to fight in but did anyway) but other than that he hasn’t finished a top fighter in his division since 2011. I have no problem with fighters winning like this, it’s a sport. But for so many years GSP got so much crap for not finishing people and Jones gets nothing till this day. I’m assuming cuz Jones is talked about all the time about everything else he does. Should GSP purposely got into trouble in the UFC and outside the UFC in order for people to think he’s a better fighter? Would he change things if he had to do it over again cuz of what the fans think of him or would he just maintain and make up his own mind with his team? How do Sherdoggers think the greatest fighters ever should continue to win their fights? Asking for a friend.
