Jones showed that kickboxing (Gane) is inferior to other disciplines in MMA

As the GOAT:
- Can he still improve at this point? What could he work on to improve his fight skills?
- Better boxing, grappling, and wrestling? Learn from world champions in those disciplines?

Tyson Fury = best heavyweight boxer in the world
Gordon Ryan = best heavyweight submission grappler in the world
Gable Steveson = best heavyweight wrestler in the world

He doesn't really need to be as good at anything as those guys are.

All three of those guys would beat Jones in their chosen discipline, but he would beat all of them in MMA. His skill is his well roundedness and his fight IQ.

What would a mythical fighter combining those 4 look like?

Exactly that. Mythical.

To get as good as those guys are you have to be complete devoted to that one thing, it has to be your entire life.

We will never see someone that masters every facet of mma for that exact reason, there are too many things you have to train in, and practise and focus one.

Gordon Ryan has devoted his entire life to mastering the art of bjj. If he was boxing and wrestling and doing judo as well he would not be the jiu jitsu savant that he is.

I think Jones should keep working with Cejudo as much as possible, he's the best analyst / strategist in the game imo.

Crazy thing about Gordon is he really hasn't been training his whole life. He started at 15, about 12 years ago. He didn't start training like a professional until he was a brown belt.

C'mon, man, Jon is already complete, you should actually discuss all these things on Stipe, like yeah, Imagine if Stipe or any HW would have the following:

As a Boxer: Skills of Muhammad Ali/Tyson Fury As a
As a Kickboxer: Skills of Semmy Schilt/Rico Verhoeven
As a Wrestler: Skills of Gable Steveson/Aleksandr Karelin
As a Grappler: Skills of Gordon Ryan/Felipe Pena/Nick Rodriguez/Andre Galvao

You forgot Rico Verhoever = best heavyweight kickboxer in the world

Edit: But BTW, Of Course, these guys won't be undefeated for a long time, I believe in the quote that says "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" yeah, like, I mean, Gordon Ryan, Rico Verhoeven, Jon Jones, they will all lose one day.

Jon Jones could improve most by working seriously with a good sports psychologist. When he's focused Jones is the MMA GOAT by a mile; when he's not focused he drops way back to the pack.
