Jon Jones Wishes Cormier Would Just Drop To 205 and Stop Talking About It

let him beat the tar out of mir first please and then let him move down to 205.
 
Cormier talks as if he is the second coming actually, its good he is confident but he he needs to slow down a bit.

I wouldnt mind him coming down to LHW first and testing the waters but Cormier seems to be hell bent on just dropping and thinking its going to be easy to get acclimated to the division just like that.

Hopefully Mir Humbles Cormier a bit in making smarter choices, he is feeling himself a bit too much But I see Mir getting spanked in this one.

Cormier doesn't have what it take to beat Jones.

Yeah, but I still want to see Cormier have at least one career fight at 205 before being handed a title shot.

The guy is amazing and a threat to anyone, but he's also only fought at HW during his career, and he's previously expressed that the weight cut might be problematic for him.

Drop to LHW FIRST. Prove he is still just as great a fighter at 205 by beating someone relevant there. THEN call out the champion and fight for the title.
 
Exactly...pretty sure Cormier likes ice cream sandwhiches too much tho.
 
I like DC..I think he's a well spoken, smart guy with some good fighting skills.

But I think JJ tears him apart.

Cormier is playing up to what this sport is turning more and more into. Theres a reason Sonnen is fighting Jones and its not because of his fighting ability.

Cormier is actually playing it smart, putting a potential match with Jones on everyone's radar. I agree he will need a tune up fight at 205 first, but I think he gets the shot.

A bit off topic - I knew Jones was long and lanky, but sheesh, I have bigger (and of course shorter) arms.
