His story is looking similar to Mike Tyson, except the prison time.
Jon Jones is ruined after he retires, what will this guy do? What will be his job? Movies? Really? Or maybe he could be a MMA trainer? I doubt, a guy as pumped as he is, would dig himself much more on drugs. What you guys think could be JJ's futures as he retires?

His future is looking brighter than 99 % of Sherdogs.

    Have a nice day.

I doubt that completely. He has brothers in the NFL and a tight niche family. His family will gather around him and he will completely recover. That being said I think the UFC is handling him with extreme favoritism and hypocrisy.

I don't know what 99% of sherdoggers do.

I don't know what Jones' future holds.

I was responding to a dumb post with a dumb post.

    Sherdog style, baby.

Crack users tend not get any better, especially with a lot of money still coming in. Daryl Strawberry is a prime example or perhaps a closer example, Chuck Liddell.

I think it will follow Jones for the rest of his career. Partying will become more important than fighting.

That would be unfortunate but even if he quit MMA today he would still be considered the greatest Light Heavy of all time.

A sad story? Being the greatest light heavyweight and argueably the p4p greatest fighter of all time is a sad story? Jones probably isn't even an addict. He's gone to rehab so the UFC and himself don't look as bad. Jeez its only a bit of coke. He's still the best fighter in the world.

I'd be surprised if Jones has a legit problem. He's a young dude, on top of the world and in his prime. No big surprise if he's out partying on occasion and does a bump or two when offered. It doesn't mean he'll be living on the street or sucking dicks in some alley to get money for coke in 3 years. Also, 90% chance he went to rehab not because he actually needs to go to rehab, but because the UFC told him to go. PR, etc.

I'm not a Jones fan, but some of the heat seems unfair. He didn't break the out of comp testing rules, and this result probably should not have been disclosed. I also doubt he's the only guy on the roster who parties - I'm guessing Chuck's habits and lifestyle even as an active fighter would have made Jon seem like a choir boy.

Yeah I'm fairly certain he'll be just fine, unless he makes retarded financial decisions. But I'm sure he's got people helping him out with that bit. He could probably retire now and live a decent life. I'm no Jones fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this entire thing is getting blown ridiculously far out of proportion. Dude did coke, do you honestly think he's the only UFC fighter or UFC champ who's done that?

Why would he need a job after he retires? Do you understand what the word "retire" means?
