Jon Jones Thinks Anime Fans Are Betas

I actually went on one of those "comic con" stuff in toronto or montreal, not sure where now. I remeber I was high as fuck, I had this huge bonner for those big tits girls who dresses up kinda nerd, and I went sure that I would get laid with one of those nerds. Oh boy.. was I wrong. Ive never met so many social disable people. You could find 20 year old "women" talking to their fathers like 11 years old girls would. It was mind blowing. For the first 1 to 2 hours I was sure I was just too high to understand what was going on. Imagining that people were not that weird, but I had had smoked a fucking purple haze, so I was lost myself, and probably they were the normal ones. At the moment I recovered logic, I did realize what was going on. People who goes to that shit sober REALLY NEED help. Its kinda their way to tell their family they are different. I could see in the parents eyes when they looked at their "children" (16-20 yo people) that they felt they have failed them as parents. Ive never went back to the shit fearing I might become like them

Probably seen more anime than most people on this board. I watched alot of it over the years. As someone very familiar with the culture. Yeah...Anime is filled with alot of weirdos and weebs. I never got into the convention stuff though or even made anime friends because a ton of them are weird af and dress like this lol

Same here, man. I like anime, but other anime fans not so much. I gotta admit those outfits look comfy af, but I’d look exactly like that guy in the pic if I wore them, so they’re a no go.

Jones is right on this one. Unless you're a young kid you probably shouldn't be watching cartoons.
 
To be fair I have to agree with Jones... he’d be doing the sport a favor.

Weebs are starting to pollute MMA and think that watching countless episodes of Naruto and One Piece qualifies their takes on the sport.

Damn I didn't know that. But I'm not that surprised considering I know a couple of guys who own $600 plastic figures of their favorite waifu characters. I guess anime and porn are the kings of entertainment.

I would recommend watching something like Samurai Champloo or Cowboy Bebop those are good entry for people. Cowboy Bebop is imo is one of the best anime’s ever made.

Agreed. Chubby Lynn Thompson is both a legend ("We can make life-saving cuts like this with our knives..." @3:34 in the video below :D) and a stuff of nightmare :D, and Cold Steel has the best videos out there. I have it on good account from an employee that the videos are intentionally made on an over-the-top and cringey note, but, anyway...still a reminder why good'ol carbon steel conquered the ancient world over and over again.

I have a big enough collection of sharp things to last me through a few lifetimes of zombie total world domination (a quirk of mine, otherwise a very likeable character if I may say so; most people would be shocked to find out what lies stashed in the closet). But hey, they keep or sometimes improve their value over time, so I can always call it "an investment".

P.S. Just realized that the background music sounds better to my ears than UFC's nu-metal intro. Guess I'm old.
