Stop projecting, clown. I'm not the one making shitty threads to spout hate.
JBJ: the GOAT!
Koquerelle: more rustled than a russle-y thing

Jon fought more recently than your newest savior. Try again idiot.Yes. Because Tom fights.
And we're fight fans. Not Jon Jones fan girls
Alright I'm back and have around 30-60 minutes to waste. Are you here you little guy? How are you today have you been outside taking that vitamin D?That's a lot of posts in an hour or so
Kind of strange behaviour if you ask me...
Jon retired because he was afraid to fight the saviour or the HW division.Jon fought more recently than your newest savior. Try again idiot.
Yup. It's pretty hot and sunny in Formia, Italy at their Olympic training centre for the summer.Alright I'm back and have around 30-60 minutes to waste. Are you here you little guy? How are you today have you been outside taking that vitamin D?
Nice!Yup. It's pretty hot and sunny in Formia, Italy at their Olympic training centre for the summer.
How are you tiny Tim?
Yeah Tom is super dangerous and Jones is damn near 40... Lets see Tom kick ass for the next 6 years and then be fired up to take on a 32 year old athletic, hard hitting stud.. People act like Jones is still 27 and doesn't have 30 fights.. He also fought at LHW for 95% of his career.. And he wasn't struggling like Kayla Harrison to make weight.. He made it easy..People acting like Tom is another Gane, Lewis, retirement Stipe aren't fooling us and aren't even fooling themselves
Sure if you are a hater that was dying to see the man lose to anyone..Being retired by Tom's mere presence as his next defence is more embarrassing than any in ring loss
Jon fought more recently than your newest savior. Try again idiot.
If we're actually being honest, we'd note that Jones originally said that the Stipe fight would be it for him, and then reconsidered for a while after having a good night.Still seeing this argument pop up - Jon isn't scared of Tom.
Let's be honest.
Tom retired Jon with out even fighting him, because Jones is absolutely terrified of the guy.
Where were these games when it came to fighting already retired 40+ Stipe or couldn't wrestle a middle school child Gane?
Jon Jones retired in absolute fear of Aspinall.

I am NOT disputing that Jones cherry picked Stipe.. When you get to that age, are rich have miles on the tires etc.. It happens.. GSP came back at 36 for Bisping.. I was so hoping he would fight Whitaker. He didn't..Most of that I can agree with. But there's a couple that are...dubious at best. Jon at 37 had no issues fighting 42 year old Stipe who hadn't won a fight in 4+ years. So the age thing...c'mon.
I don't think he was sure about it.. If he was sure he retires fast.. Probably wanted to see what the UFC's final offer was and and then think about it.And more importantly, had Jon just outright said he was done right after Stipe he wouldn't be getting NEAR this much shit. If it's a question of "Jones doesn't have it in him to fight a bigger, faster, younger guy that's knocking everyone's head off"...okay! That's understandable. Then don't drag shit out like an asshole for 7 months.
None of this is relevant to the post you quoted or specific point that was bring debated.Yeah Tom is super dangerous and Jones is damn near 40... Desperate stuff buddy, desperateSure if you are a hater that was dying to see the man lose to anyone..
You can't start a post "if we're actually being honest..." and then be completely disingenuousIf we're actually being honest, we'd note that Jones originally said that the Stipe fight would be it for him, and then reconsidered for a while after having a good night.
Oh, agree on this 10000% percent thoughOccams' razor - the simplest explanation is often the best one.
Which is fine, because being 100% accurate about what actually happened, as described in my post, isn't disingenuous at all. Going into the fight, he said that was going to be it. When interviewed in the Octagon afterwards, whether it was it, he said, unspecifically, that he reconsidered. You can't start a post "if we're actually being honest..." and then be completely disingenuous
Is that the simplest explanation when - 1) Someone previously said the November fight was going to be his last, and 2) wound up making the November fight his last?Oh, agree on this 10000% percent though
Simplest explanation- 1 guy retired rather than fight because he's shit scared if the opponent.
Doesn't get more simple.
