Lol I do believe Jones wouldn't fare as well in the HW division but a middle of the pack guy like Lewis isn't one of the guys who would pose a threat.


Jones is too quick and smart for him. Would stay of striking range, score an opportunistic trip takedown and do whatever he wants from there lol.


Miocic, Werdum, Cain, and JDS would be the ones who could school him.
 
1 takedown attempt and we would have seen a different JDS. He even admitted it in the post fight interview by saying he is a boxer.

Jones is just as fast as Junior and is a better eye-poker than Ben with a longer reach.

Black Beast matches well against certain fighters but seriously?

Yet JBJ fucking ragdolled DC who was an ELITE HEAVYWEIGHT beating Barnett, Silva (who just got done beating the piss out of Fedora in the previous fight), Frank Mir, and Sao (huge HW) during his HW reign. TS with room temperature IQ.

The only hws that Jones may want to avoid are JDS, Cain and Werdum. He may even beat them.
 
Jones has faced Rampage and Glover, who hit as hard as many HWs. He also outwrestled Cormier, who is one of the best MMA wrestlers of all time, at both HW and LHW. Jones is fast, still has a reach advantage over almost all HWs, has great wrestling, a great chin, good subs, very diverse and unpredictable striking...Like him or not, Bones would do very well at HW.

Ngannou is a guy who under the right training and a fight or two, not many guys on the roster are gonna want to see.




JDS would smash Bones though lol.
