News Jon Jones RE-ENTERS Testing Pool - WANTS White House UFC Fight

UFC needs to stop wasting Tom's time with this bullshit. Give him a fight ASAP - Gane, Almeida and Volkov are available.
The undisputed UFC HW champs next fight is already signed, per the undisputed UFC HW champ

No issue with lesser, fringe fights also occurring among the lesser names of the sport

The UFC is a marketing machine for Trump.

Tom should be legit nervous about this news, we're one Dana statement-lie from this:

"There was a miscommunication from Jon's people, he never officially retired and is still the reigning HW champ, Tom will be defending his interim title against Cyril Gane, we'll announce the date shortly"

The build up for Jon vs Stipe 2 has been quite a ride!!

I actually think both Jon & Conor will want to fight on the White House card (although it would be tough for one of their egos to give main event to the other)

Jon's "retirement" was just him wanting no part of Aspinall, which was obvious. Idrc much since eventually he finally did the right thing and gave up the belt so the division can move on

Maybe Jon vs Alex?

Of course a narcissist like Jon is going to drag this whole thing out for as long as he possibly can.
Pretty much he realized nobody gave a fuck about him anymore since retirement so he did this to stay relevant. Classic Conor move.

Wait, is this marking 250 years since the Revolutionary War against the British? A USA vs UK HW title fight was made for this.

Has everyone forgotten the legal issues that occurred?
With a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and a $300 fine, plus very little chance that Jones gets anything near the maximum penalty (while the alleged behavior is deserving and Jones has a problematic driving history, the charge itself is as ticky-tack rinky-dink as they come and most of the alleged bad behavior isn't actually relevant to the charge, so a plea resulting in something like a six-month license suspension and one or two hundred hours of community service is about the most Jones is likely to be looking at), that doesn't seem particularly relevant.

The door closed on this when he gave up the belt. Without the belt they can't make nearly as much money on the PPV, so they can't pay him nearly as much. If it were going to happen it would've happened with the belt
I think he just wants attention.

But if Jones really wants to fight, Tom will have defended the belt by then, yes, this fight will sell very well.
