At the New York press conference today. Also added: "That was my first fight in fifteen months, I had been in jail the same month, and he was only able to land like two punches on me the whole fight. It's funny that people consider that my worst performance and I still earned a 50-44. If that's the standard that people hold me to, than it's definitely a good problem to have." Also says he's going to annihilate DC and wonders what he will say when his kids ask him if he beat Jon Jones.

That's actually a pretty solid answer to the critics.

I turned off the presser.

"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."
"Hey jon.."

Jon didnt fight in a long time so people forgot he was a decision machine

i remember when people liked fighters because they were fun to watch. not risk adverse decision machines. and yet people who are fans of mcgregor get made fun of so much. pardon me for liking the fighter who makes it a good fight while going for the finish, instead of the criminal who runs away throwing front knee kicks and eye pokes.

I thought he meant standard as a decent human being.

Cool story bruh

100% agree with him, it was a dominant performance after a long layoff. It may not be entertaining but it was still impressive.

You know you're good when people have to lie and say you struggled even though you clearly didn't, lol.

I preferred his immediate reaction after the fight. Physically, he looked absolutely fine. He just wasn't locked in mentally. His timing and aggression just weren't there. What he's saying here is also true, but I hope that he is focusing on making sure he's fully prepared for the next fight. And I don't want to see him walking through the crowd to hug family before he gets in the cage again. I was really disturbed that he was that distracted getting in the cage. Their presence shouldn't have even been an afterthought in that moment. You do that after the fight.
