It's an "unconfirmed rumor" which has been spread by a lot of people. It is old news, but it didn't get a lot of credibility until Jones failed his drug test.

it probably happened. Luke Thomas' source say Jones was avoiding it because of recreational drugs. Say his source is from Jackson's MMA and doesn't like Jones. this has been reported for multiple people so there are likely other sources, and therefore some version of that likely happened. as with every rumor, ultimately we don't know.

It is not possible, but that does not mean it is not true. Considering the fact that we talk about Jones it probably is.
