People saying Jon Jones only fights MWs yet Jones has wins over the top two organizations HW champions. DC 2x and Ryan Bader. He also has wins over Gus 2x, Evans (former HW), and rampage who is massive.

But the guy only fights mws right?
 
There is probably a need for a support group of Jon Jones haters so they can give each other hugs. Some of the hate posts on here are quite funny (though unintentional).
 
It's because of his smugness.

On top of the smugness, he's a cheater and a criminal, so practically everything he says reeks of hypocrisy.

And on the most basic level - he's extremely passive aggressive. He basically has a personality of like a smooth frat guy, and it's super annoying to most of us who aren't smooth frat guys.

Plus he's a cheater and criminal.

Wandy was an asshole out of the ring. Murray was a thug. Vitor is a cheater. Anderson Silva is a cheater. Chael is a cheater and was guilty of money laundering. Gus was no angel. They all get less hate than Jones.

Jones made a lot of good fighters look bad and sherdoggers can’t handle it. When he dropped Macheetah on the floor, a lot of sherdoggers just died a little inside.

People get triggered because we've been conditioned by Hollywood (and really all common fables, parables, religious teachings of good vs evil) that the good guy wins.

Jon Jones is a legitimate piece of shit.

Unfortunately, he may the greatest fighter the UFC has ever seen. It doesn't match the stories we grew up with and it forces us to realize that sometimes the bad guy does prosper.

A lot of great and legendary fighters have a terrible past. Mike Tyson is one of the most beloved fighters of all time. He is a convicted rapist, with a history of violent behavior and numerous arrests for assault. By his own admission, when he was a kid he used to rob old ladies of their grocery money. Not exactly a choirboy.

This is mma math bullshit. HW is the most prestigious belt. If it was easier he would have moved up by now and fought guys like Stipe, JDS, Nganou, and be a double champ. He himself has admitted that it's a different animal. If it was easier then every LHW on the roster would move to HW and take the strap. DC won the SF HW Grand Prix so he's proven he can be successful there.

HW has NEVER been the most prestigious belt in the UFC. Its almost a joke.

There never been a HW star, DC is the closest.
LHW has always been the flagship division with by far the most Stars
Chuck Tito Forrest Rampage Shogun Jones Lyoto its not even close.

Athletic big men dont go into mma and definitely not the ufc.

The evidence of its challenge is telling Cormier NEVER lost a single rounf at HW

Division wise of course HW is inferior at this point.
Unathletic, 1 dimensional sluggers with pedestrian fight iq.

This again is why DC has been able to effortlessly walk through the HW division without ever losing a SINGLE round.
