Well,actually everyone,except very few fighters fight in their natural weightclass.
But , when you considered yourself as one of the best - there should be no doubts and more risks taken. Being scared to lose instantly removes you from conversations about GOAT. Jones has 10 inch reach advantage over DC, are you serious? Height 5.11 vs 6.4?
When i sparred guys at wrestling class who was little bigger/taller than - i could feel difference by a mile. Mcgregor vs Diaz is great example as well, guy is just not your weightclass, even though he has a rock's chin, still he is different animal..
