This, that guy is underestimating how hard the less powerful HWs hit. Werdum and Cain both still hit much harder than Jones does.

He said he wouldn't have trouble because he trains with bigger guys, but that's sparring and I don't think Greg Jackson has his fighters spar 100%, so it doesn't mean anything.

To say Werdum has no ko power is silly, that knee would have put Jones into a coma. Sure he uses his striking to primarily set up his submissions and doesn't chase a one punch KO, but the power is there.

Ok well I never said Werdum had no KO power. I said he didn't have incredible KO power. Pretty much everybody has some KO power especially if we're talking about flying knees. Hell if we include flying knees then pretty much everyone in the world who can land a flying knee has KO power.

My whole point was that if people like Werdum and Cain can become champs without devastating KO power than so can someone like Jones. The guy I quoted was saying Jones could never do well at HW cause he doesn't have KO power.
