JoJo Should Have Fought Valentina Instead Of Chookagian

That is how you get KO'd.
I don't think Valentina has power in her hands to KO anyone, but she definitely has it with her kicks. It's easy to hit JoJo with punches, but she can see kicks coming a mile away. That's how she was able to take Chookagian down both times; she caught the leg and took her down.

Also, JoJo has power at 125 too; she almost KO'd Valerie Leterneau down with a spinning back fist and finished her with strikes. The only other fighters that were able to finish Leterneau were Sarah Kaufman and Ilima-Lei Macfarlene.

She won’t see vals kicks coming around the corner. Much less a mile
Away

Than who would be next in that division?
There's a woman in the division who has shown she can beat the Shevchenko style of fighting...

One Shevchenko down, one to go!

Yeah, but I think she'll do more than Val's last opponents. Chookagian kicked air for two rounds then got murdered on the mat.
Bit harsh on Carmouche. She did plenty, she absolutely bored us all to tears.

Could you imagine her against Valentina, would be hilarious. Fuck it why not book it.

Again, there are levels to this. This is like saying a fighter who was able to handle Clay Guida's wrestling can deal with Khabib's wrestling. Good luck with that.

Chookagian has serviceable kicking, it works well enough against average level opponents and that's about it. She doesn't have good timing or setups on her kicks, they're not particularly fast and her technique & form is rather mediocre. She has good range on them thanks to her long legs, but her distance control kinda sucks which negates most of that.

Valentina on the other hand is the best kicker on the women's side. There's almost zero tell on her kicks and she has the timing, setups, and distance control to go with it. Not to mention textbook perfect technique and blinding speed. Go through Valentina's entire MMA and Muay Thai career, there's only one time she's ever been taken down from a kick and that was when she tried to soccer kick Nunes on the way down after she caught Amanda's kick and swept her.
