so ive read the FAQ and searched to no avail, please link me if i've missed my answer, and please correct me if my info is wrong.

so i'm going to buy a couple supps and i had some questions about glucosamine and others.

to my understanding glucosamine helps aid in joint recovery, is this true? is glucosamine necesaary for an active weight lifter? (i lift 3-5 times a week and live actively) any negatives i should know about glucosamine?

is there something else that would help with muscle recovery? (i need this more)

thanks a bunch for any help!

Are you using a post workout shake with a 2:1 ratio of dextrose to whey protein?

Go to bulk nutrition and order some dextrose and mix it in a 2:1 ratio with your whey post workout. This will aide recovery alot. Also Some people claim Glutamine helps their recovery, other people say it's bunk though. In the end it's fairly cheap if you want to try it as well.

Glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM are used for the joints mainly. Also try supplementing with fish oil. That helps too.

glucosamine, chondroitin and msm for joint support

protein, glutamine and sleep for muscle recovery

I had a stiff hip joint from running and since Ive been taking Glucasamine I've had zero problems. Like it's been totally fixed.

How much do you guys pay in then US, it's around $15 here for 2 weeks supply (capsule form).

Go to vitacost.com & order Jarrow Whey Protein powder supplement. It has the necessary muscle recovery ingrediants and it's 100% natural unlike most whey supps. Vitacost.com has by far the most inexpensive supps on the net plus they're very credit card safe.

my right hip is extremely stiff, it limits me from some stretches (splits) and squats... ill deff give the capsules a try

Also on vitacost.com I would highly recommend for stiff joints getting a product called Carlson's Very Finest Fish Oil. Get the bottle (liquid form) because it's more cost & bioavailably efficient. I take 2 teaspoons every morning and I'd never stop taking it. Omega-3 fatty acids also have excellent cardiovascular health benefits.
