Joint manipulation on standup

in ufc i hear alot about a move called a keylock...can someone explain to me what that is?

I think it's one of the many names for a Kimura.

A keylock is a shoulder lock, also know as kimura.

I think that some of the more simple joint locks are effective, but I wouldn't rely on them. I use them only when I know I can actually get a hold of the finger/wrist/elbow.
