I decided to abandon my first log, the name didn't fit two years after finishing SS and being just short of a 2.5xBW deadlift.
The plan for the next few weeks looks like this, starting light and ramping up after the tournament on the 1st of august:

Tuesday
Power Snatch - heavy
Squat - 5/3/1 + heavy supports
OHP - 5/3/1 + FSL
SGDL - 4x6
Facepulls, Curls

Wednesday
Ab Wheel, Neck work
Jump rope

Thursday
Power Snatch - light
Dead - 5/3/1 + singles
Bench - 5/3/1 + FSL
Front squat - 5x3
C&P - 4x6
DB - Row

Saturday
Sprints/jumps, L-Sit, Handstand practice
Chinups, Ring-Dips, Ab Wheel, Neck work

BJJ
Stand-up drills, Omoplata from old-school grip

When it was time to roll I was on fire, I tore through a lighter blue belt and two heavier white belts today in sparring for multiple rounds. A one in a thousand session. I hope I'll be half as sharp as today at the sub-only tournament in two weeks.

haha I'm in your neck of the woods right now (Stuttgart-area). Where specifically?

Stuttgart is a really nice city, but I'm a few hours west in Munich.
Are you enjoying the tropical summers down here?

I'm getting hammered pretty hard - my frosty swedish upbrining aint used to this shit. The germans themselves are taking it amazingly well though - I'm routinely spotting people in shirts, blazers and jeans who arent even breaking a sweat while I'm reduced to a human faucet.

Power Snatch:
bar x 5; 50kg x 3
65kg 5x3

Squat:
60kg x 5; 90kg x 3
115kg x 3
130kg x 3
145kg x 3
170kg x hold

OHP:
bar x 10; 40 x 5
52.5kg x 3
60kg x 3
67.5kg x 3
52.5kg 3x6

SGDL: 90kg 4x6
EZ-Curls: 25kg 3x12
Rear Delt Fly: 40lbs 3x12

Sweated like a pig today, but had a nice session.

Some are, but I don't count myself among these mythical creatures.

Planned to do some more, but was to tired.

Had no time for the clean and press, felt a bit tired today. The smoking gym bunny doing barbell hip thrusts behind me helped a bit with motivation, though.

BJJ
Two cool sweeps from half guard with a knee shield

Did 5 min rounds of sparring and had to quit after 2, because I somehow fucked my knee and neck up. Knee is minor, but I have pain turning my head in any direction. Great.

BJJ
Revisited the scissor sweep and omoplata from old-school grip

I'm in the preparation phase for my exams since saturday and I'm looking forward to another 38 days of 8h+ of studying. I hope I manage it better than last semester, I really grinded myself down without being as efficient as I would have liked.

Really awesome session today, rehearsed omoplata and scissor sweeps.
Lots of people today, good vibe, but I was ready to fall asleep after drilling.

Had a great day at a sub-only tournament today, came in second place after two fights. First one was against a rather tenacious Czech, who fought hard for head position while standing. I fought back, he shook me down, I got back to guard and after bringing his hips down I got a deep collar grip and tapped him with a cross choke.

Second one went against the same guy from my gym from last time, he won by arm triangle after some minutes, but it gets closer every time. Takeaway from this fight is the need to be more active/mobile on the bottom in bad positions. After that I was off to enjoy the day with my team and the BBQ at night.

In the last few weeks multiple people remarked that for one, my jiu-jiutsu is getting noticeably better quickly and that my levels of jackedness are becoming apparent. Good to know that the work I put in starts to pay off.

Yesterday: BJJ
Good session. Rolling started in side control, tried to take it easy and focus on control and positioning instead of just powering through guys.

Today:
Power Snatch:
bar x 5; 40kg x 3
60kg x 2
72.5kg 2x1

Squat:
60kg x 5; 90kg x 5
120kg x 3
135kg x 1
152.5kg x 1
170kg x 1 (PR)

OHP:
bar x 10; 40 x 5; 50kg x 3
57.5kg x 5
65kg x 3
72.5kg x 1

Just a jack day, was low on time after the big lifts and didn't fancy doing acessories anways, as my wrecked thumb made gripping stuff tough. Apart from that, finally squatted 170, first 1RM PR squat since christmas. Moved well actually, 4 plates might still be a possibility this year.

Deadlift:
60kg x 5; 90kg x 5; 120kg x 3
150kg x 5
170kg x 3
190kg x 2

Front Squat:
80kg 4x6

Bench:
bar x 10; 50kg x 5; 70kg x 5
85kg x 5
95kg x 3
105kg x 5 (tied PR)
85kg 3x6

C&P: 50kg 3x6
Rear Delt Fly: 40lbs 4x12

Skipped BJJ yesterday to let my thumb rest and because I was mentally toast.
Still just five reps with 105 on bench.

Ab Wheel: 4x10

Forced myself tom at least get some ab work in, as motivation has been especially low the last few days. Although I'm starting to find my groove with studying and get a lot done, I'm tired all the time, think bleak thoughts, my appetite is zero and I need forever to get out of bed (I don't have to set an alarm right now). I had some blood taken last week and my total T is strangely low (3.59ng/dl). For comparison, the last time I got checked a year ago after a few days of sickness, I was at almost twice that number.

Sounds like you're going through a bit of a rough patch, mate?
Hope you feel better soon.. dbol and tren will sort your test levels out ;)

jks
