I'm a big Makdessi and Fiahlo fan.
Makdessi cut feels harsh considering he was on the wrong side of a decision he should've won and I know yhe Fiahlo cut is justified but I still think he had the skill set to be much better than he was in the UFC.

Both guys still got some fight left in them wouldn't mind seeing them in PFL or Bellator.

Ah well, in over 10 years in the UFC the only memorable things he did was a spinning back fist in his debut (I think) and getting spin kicked in the face by Lando so I can't say I'm upset.

I really liked his jab, left hook combo. Once he got it going the rest of his offence and defence flowed pretty nicely with good flow from both hands and range control.

Fiahlo's shot selection was his biggest weakness tho. Instead of find shots and set up shop with that jab hook duo he seemed to just rip punches hoping to smash threw his opponents guard which lead to that caveman kill or be killed style that kept getting him starched.

Buys needs some sort of success to counter all that. You just know he sits there thinking how a Chad like Roman does this to his ex-wife... EVERY NIGHT.
