Bellator 143 Will be headlined by a bantamweight showdown between Joe Warren (12-4) and L.C Davis in Hidalgo Texas September 25th

Also on the card is John Macapa vs Gleristone Santos in the FeatherWeight division
and the return of Vinicius Spartan as he takes on former k-1 champ Texeira.

    Wtf

What about Brooks or Galvao, you know actual Bellator champs who should be headlining cards

What about figuring something out with the Middleweight division.

Nothing against either Warren or LC, but this should NOT be a main event.

Bellator has enough inactive champions that Warren/Davis, Guillard/Girtz, and Kongo/Volkov type fights should not be main events.

I'd like to see a middleweight tournament....you know how it's been said Dana reads sherdog? I think coker also reads sherdog or its just a coincidence that people here were itching here for a one night tourney and then like a month later they announce the one night lhw tourney.

They also need to sign guys for depth, tired of the same old guys fighting for the last 1-2 years. I know it takes time to develop talent but bring in some familiar guys like muttonchop griggs in the meantime, old strikeforce dudes. Let's keep talking about what we want to see, I think coker or someone at bellator might be listening

Good fight. I think they are pretty closely matched. But it would have been better to have this as co-main with Galvao-Dantas 2 or Brooks-Held. Not sure what the holdup is on those fights.

    War BMOTP

When you're the baddest man on the planet today, they got a name for you. They don't call you a bad man, they call you JOE WARREN.

Bellator is really fucking up these headliners. When you could have Galvao, Brooks, or MW title, they make Warren-Davis headliner. Idiotic.

I think tokoro might fight Steve Garcia on this card.

Davis vs Warren is a great fight.

What is going on with Bellator? They should have stacked cards now that they got rid of weekly events. Instead now their champs fight once a year.

    Exactly

It's not like Warren/LC is a bad fight. In fact it's a great fight that I want to see. But it should not be headlining.

Hell Bellator 141 would be a great card if it was topped off with either Brooks/Held or Galvao/Dantas 2

Just feels like Bellator is missing that x-factor to make their cars must see events

Warren's a bigger name than just about everyone else under 205 in Bellator. They're gonna have him headline as many cards as they can cuz', like it or not, more people are gonna watch a card headlined by even a belt-less Joe Warren than they will a title defense with Brooks.

Think we all tend to blow Warrens drawing power out of proportion. He isn't some giant draw that changes ratings leaps and bounds. He's a decent name but not someone casuals are going to tune in to see main event a non-title fight.

It's a fun fight but it shouldn't be a main event.

this would be excellent fight if it was headlining prelims or maybe being opening fight of the night.

Is an okish match, but would rather see Warren v Caldwell (title eliminator ) and Davis v Emerson.

It's not a squash but just a slight mismatch.
