Joe Smith Jr. vs Steve Geffrard Jan.15th ESPN

Miss it at your peril... Smith ALWAYS delivers the mail win or lose, but he is vulnerable to a skilled mover/counterpuncher.
Is Geffrard skilled enough and does he have a strong enough beard and cardio to dethrone Smith? It's a big ask, and I wouldn't count on it, but neither would I bet the house on Joe.

The Nova fight will be fun, no doubt about it.

Annoyingly I keep reading this title as Joe Smith Jr v Steve Gerrard, but sadly i would never get that lucky.

I noticed that at 10 on ESPN it shows "Joe Smith Jr vs Steve Geffrard Main Card". Might just be copying their UFC stuff, but it made me curious if the prelims were being aired somewhere. Nothing on ESPN2 or anything before 10 that I see.

Edit to add looks like starts on ESPN+ at "7:40", whatever that's about. But a couple hours of prelims, it appears. Good stuff.
 
I really hope Canelo vs Smith doesn’t happen, I’m tired of seeing these epic canelo super tough challenges where he is always a 6-1 favorite because we all know why the fight was made and how it was going to end, smith vs canelo would be a horrible fight.

But smith will look strong and limited as he always does… probably will get a call tomorrow with an offer he can’t refuse.
 
Going mustard beard and Jr each by KO. Could still be some fun fights
